Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia) Dies at the age of 60

A few days ago we were all hit with the news of Carrie Fisher having a severe heart attack during a flight from London to L.A. and thereafter that she was in a stable condition. Sadly, things went from bad to worse and she died in the hospital where she was being treated. 

Carrie Fisher who had a long and successful career will be best known to all of us as the 'Star Wars' heroine Princess Leia Organa, while also for her roles in beloved films such as 'the Blues Brothers' and 'When Harry Met Sally'.

On a side note most will be wondering about the future of the 'Star Wars' films that she was currently being apart of. New reports have come out and it seems she had a more significant role in the upcoming Episode 8 film. She did manage to finish filming her part, but now most will wonder how 'Lucasfilm' will handle her passing away and role in the next chapter of the series.

Carrier Fisher is survived by her mother Reynolds, daughter Lourd, brother Todd Fisher and half-sisters Joely Fisher and Tricia Leigh Fisher and her dog Gary.
