Weekend U.S. Box Office August 10-12, 2018

Who knew, but 'The Meg' made more money than expected and maybe there is hope for people to watch films that look bad, but maybe are fun as the good old days. Second in the U.S. box office is 'Mission: Impossible 6' which made its previous domestic box office without issue and lastly further down the list 'Slender Man' and 'BlackkKlaksman' made about the same at around 11 million each. However, if you look at their theater number for both you can see that Spike Lee's new film made more per theater which could lead to more money down the road.
