Weekend U.S. Box Office July 27-29, 2018

The series of 'Mission Impossible' still has that special something after so many years. It may not make the big Marvel or 'Jurassic World' money, but it makes enough to cover its budget worldwide in its first week and have consistent markers in opening weekend box offices from its very first film all the way to today. Additionally, it so happens that 'Fallout' is the highest opener from the entire series. Showing another sequel could be coming in another 2-3 years time.

Elsewhere, 'Mamma Mia 2' and 'Equalizer 2' are pushing for that 75 million mark and 'Jurassic World 2' will make 400 million just in the U.S. in the upcoming week without an issue.
