Weekend U.S. Box Office September 14-16, 2018

The continuation of Predator came in at number one this past week, but not with a good enough box office to cause a commotion. The film is enjoyable and good action ride, but its lack of a power house star, while also word of mouth probably not being the best due to some minor issues with the film might lead to it not having its story being followed up with a sequel.

In its second week 'the Nun' seems to be doing well and if you account for international box office it seems the producers behind 'the Conjuring' know what they are doing. Lastly, in third place is new film by Paul Feig, which is a change of tune for him from the comedic to the dramatic, but looking at its trailer it looks only good enough for a very niche crowd which shows in its box office performance.
